Hunter Ballew is a successful entrepreneur and has been a civil servant for many years. The businessman is passionate about showing others what’s possible. After completing his high school education, Hunter decided to serve his country by joining the Marine Corps and later moved to the Fire Department to work as a full-time firefighter and EMT.
During his work as a firefighter, he always had a side hustle to earn some extra money. In December 2015, he left the civil service and decided to pursue his entrepreneurial dream full time. His first venture involved marketing and building brands.
After working in different industries for a year, he launched his own roofing company in the Carolinas. Hunter Ballew believes in teamwork. With time, he grew the best team in the region, and this enabled him to scale it to multiple 7 figures.
Other than heading his construction company, Hunter Ballew leads a men’s group called BOLD Brotherhood. At BOLD, the business executive helps hundreds of men through live events, retreats, private groups, and a Mastermind.
Mr. Ballew formed the group to help men become better leaders to their families, workplace, and community by stretching their minds and pushing their bodies. He is passionate about sharing his knowledge and skills with other upcoming entrepreneurs.
He trains other business owners in different industries through another company called Master Closer. The organization is known for its sales training and holds various events to empower business people.
The entrepreneur also plans to launch a fitness app later this year. From his early years, Hunter Ballew knew that there were many opportunities that he could explore and that he had the ability to control his income if he had the work ethic.
He started exhibiting his entrepreneurial skills at an early age. At the age of 6, he would catch lizards and try to sell them. Two years later, he identified another opportunity to make some extra money. He started digging through old dumps in the mountains to take antiques to the Flea Market.
During his Middle School education, Hunter Ballew hustled candy from his book bag. Then his life got tougher. He believes that everyone is different, and what matters in life is one’s perspective.
According to him, some of the hard times in his past have helped to be the man he is today. Hunter had a hard time after completing middle school as his family members went separate ways. His parents were unemployed at the time, and they turned to a life that did not involve their children.
Hunter Ballew decided to move to one of his grandparent’s house, and his siblings went to another. From there, he was determined to continue studying and working towards living a good life.

1. Be Positive.
Most business people tend to give up easily if something does not turn out as they expected. At the end of his studies, he was position 189 out of 212. He never lost hope. He graduated and focused on his dream of joining the Marine Corp.
2. Focus on your Dream.
During his early years, he exhibited his entrepreneurial skills. Even after joining the service, he left to venture into business.
3. Believe in yourself.
When he left the public service to focus on entrepreneurship, some of his colleagues thought he would fail and get back to his previous job. However, he was confident that he would succeed as a businessman.
