If “hard worker” had a face, it’d be author, speaker, investor, influencer, podcaster, and public figure, Sean Whalen. Sean, who was raised by a single parent, is a notable figure most famous for his world class coaching group for business professionals – The Lion’s Den, and writing Amazon’s best-selling book called “How To Make Sh*it Happen.” He’s also a serial entrepreneur and has founded multiple successful companies.
Sean has experienced many challenges throughout his life, including losing all his assets in the 2008 economic crash and going through a divorce. He was a self-made millionaire, and many people thought he had everything going for him, only to see it all lost. Sean thought of ending it all by committing suicide since he felt tired of fighting, and not even his three beautiful children could save him.
Sean woke up one day and finally admitted he needed help. He joined an improvement program along with a friend who was facing similar issues. Together, they fought to regain their mental health and enjoy the art of living once again. Sean learned things he didn’t know about himself before, and this helped him turn a new page in his life.
It took personal courage to speak up about his experiences. Sean launched an apparel brand called Lions Not Sheep, and this mantra turned into a movement. He sees himself as a former sheep who used to blindly follow the norms of society and was not aware of his responsibilities. Sean uses the movement to remove the stigma of men always appearing tough and learn to be free from mental and emotional struggles.
Sean also launched a coaching program called The Lion’s Den, which helps people understand integrity, honesty, and being true to one’s emotions. Through this program, he challenges members to invest in their minds, get in shape physically, and get their relationships and finances in order. These are the same things Sean did to recover from his struggles, and he hopes people can relate to his story of survival.
Today, Sean has survived the challenges of his past and has come back stronger and wiser. He inspires other people to take a similar journey. He regularly shares his success story on his social media pages, such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, where he has hundreds of thousands of loyal followers. Sean has explored the world of TikTok and LinkedIn, too. Overall he has racked up billions of views on his content, and is in the process of expanding his audience and inspiring more people by relating his experiences and teaching others to find success and fulfillment. His family values, beautiful wife Saxony, his children, and down to Earth attitude are the reason his followers love him, and of course the high adrenaline extreme sports content he posts helps as well. On any given day, Sean can be found shooting a 50. Cal on the open range or having a wild time racing in the desert with his son.
Sean is famous for his methodology called Core 4, which he constantly teaches in his books and discusses in his speaking engagements. What he has built through Core 4 are power, passion, purpose, and production that represent the body, relationships, mind, and business. Sean believes that if everyone chooses to focus on these core areas, their life will slowly improve, just as his did. Within the Lion’s Den the 4 pillars are what help the members advance so quickly.
